Hello
The Sands of Time
Again a DLA Appeal Hearing is pending, again time is running out and again a reminder letter letter - reproduced below - is necessary. The letter refers to some of the abnormal findings encountered during various neurological tests carried out by the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary consulant neurologist Mr Coleman. For example an MRI scan showed a cyst in my brain [had been there a long time he said] and EMG tests showed abnormal muscle response.
Heads You Win...Tails I Lose
The medical profession is generally forever bitching about the lack of physical evidence regarding M.E. and MCS [although there is a ton of it "out there" if you actually take the time and trouble to actually look for it guys]. Yet when they find some right under their noses - like my abnormal EMG tests for example - they then try to explain it all away so that their cosy illusions about these illnesses remain comfortably intact. In the case of my abnormal EMG tests while the neurologist duly noted them as factual in his report he nevertheless felt compelled to try and explain them away by including the qualifying statement "but may be due to lack of use". Yeah right doc - thanks for nothing! Heads you win and tails I lose. How about this one instead Doc; "May be due to the ME/CFS illness". What a revolutionary idea, huh.
The Cause is Dead - Long Live the Symptom
Always it seems allopathic medicine will confuse and glorify a mere "symptom" for an actual "cause". But then the whole sad saga of 'modern' western medicine, based as it is on the out-of-date "chemical-mechanical" view of reality, is one of treating "symptoms" with lucrative allopathic drugs while largely ignoring both the acual "causes" of our diseases, and their "prevention" via proper nutrition, proper hydration, and non-toxic living and working environments. Why? Because then we might actaully all get really well and healthy for once - and stay that way. What would happen then to that multi-trillion dollar/pound per annum sickness industy that we constantly confuse for our health services?
Thank you for your interest.
Namaste
Yours Sincerely
Gordon D McHendry
