Another GP With Two Faces - Continued - Again!

         This is the third of a group of three letters to my GP which illustrate his strange reluctance to extend to 3rd parties in writing the excellent verbal support he would give to me personally on a one-to-one basis. The other two letters in this "group" are dated 24.06.1999 [Ref: Med-04], and 16.07.1999 [Ref: Med-05].

Deja Vu - Again - Continued!

         Again, leaping forward in time a few years you can clearly see, in my letters to him of 22.05.03 and 03.06.03, the exact same 'negative pattern' at work again with yet another DLA appeal tribunal scenario.

Deep Breaths In...Deep Breaths Out

         As you can see from the letter above - and the two letters that preceeded it - actually getting even basic medical confirmations from my GP - Dr Gordon Carter - is not exactly the easiest of tasks.

What Do You Do When Diplomacy & Democracy Fail You?

         Please bear in mind just how difficult it often is for any severe ME/MCS sufferer to have to repeatedly jump through unneceseary hoops like this. Especially when all that is being asked for is just the kind of basic "medical confirmations" that are absolutely essential to - and DEMANDED by - the health related welfare benefit system; particularly the welfare benefit appeals process.
