Another GP With Two Faces - Continued

         This is the second of a group of three letters to my GP which illustrate his strange reluctance to extend to 3rd parties in writing the excellent verbal support he would give to me personally on a one-to-one basis. The other two letters in this "group" are dated 24.06.99 [Ref: Med-04], and 25.07.99 [Ref: Med-06] and are available for viewing from the table of documents contained in the "Letters on Medical Matters" webpage.

Deja Vu - Again!

         Again, leaping forward in time a few years you can clearly see, in my letters to him of 22.05.03 and 03.06.03, the exact same 'negative pattern' at work again with yet another DLA appeal tribunal scenario.

The "Eleventh Hour" Tactic

         As can be seen in the letter above my GP's response doesn't arrive until the last minute - and even then fails completely to provide EVEN ONE SINGLE THING asked for.

Deep Breaths In...Deep Breaths Out

         I give the benefit of the doubt by assuming some kind of misunderstanding and re-request the essential basic medical confirmations that the law of the land requires of me as standard practice during welfare benefit appeals.

What Do You Do When Diplomacy & Democracy Fail You?

         Allowing also for the possibility that my GP, Dr Gordon Carter, may indeed have some kind of genuine personal or professional problem with my requests for basic DLA appeal medical confirmations - I invite dialog on the matter. The kind of response I receive is clear from the third letter in this "group" - Ref: Med-06 dated 25.07.99.
