Dear Dr Carter
During your last most welcome
visit you asked to kept informed if I could find details of the specific
chemicals used in Flame Retardant preparations. Please find enclosed an Internet document entitled: “National
Academy of Sciences…” which covers said chemicals in upholstery. Also a list of known chemicals that are
problematic for me.
Thank you also for your letter of support to Mark Rands of GHA dated 18.01.02. It raises one or two issues that I feel need some clarification – to avoid confusions and possible complications further down the line:
·
I am not sensitive to a “…particular chemical…”. I am
extremely
sensitive to a whole range of individual chemicals, chemical groups, and
chemical combinations.
·
You say that I am “…struggling
to cope…” with my day to day life at the moment. And that is absolutely true.
But only as a direct consequence of long-term, ongoing, chemical
assault, day and night, which produces great suffering on all levels of
being. Were it not for this incredible,
intolerable, and entirely preventable, situation I would be coping just fine. In fact under the circumstances I reckon I
should be awarded some kind of medal for just how well I have coped in the face
of such long-term adversity J.
Regarding my tele-request for an emergency visit yesterday, (which I didn’t get), and my subsequent tele-request to be hospitalised for some kind of break from the constant chemical poisoning I am subjected to here round-the-clock, (which I also didn’t get), I would just like to confirm that I am, as you predicted, still alive today. And I need you to know that the suffering was long, and much, and is still running.
You are the best Doctor I have
ever had – but we still have some big problems here.
Yours sincerely
Gordon McHendry
