Huntly
Health Centre
Dear Dr Carter
Further to your request to be
kept informed of my dental appointment of 16-4-01 with the Keith dentist Mrs
Hall, please be advised that dental x-rays clearly showed a longstanding
infection beneath the tooth root. No
treatment was given at the time as Mrs Hall thought it best to refer me to her
partner (I think she said he was an orthadontal surgeon?) for the necessary
root-work which will, apparently, require a rather substantial one-hour
appointment on the 9th of May.
I am still struggling but the
antibiotics (4x4 times a day) and my home made colloidal silver are keeping the
worst of the symptoms at bay for now.
I can’t thank you enough Dr
Carter. Not only for referring me to
Mrs Hall in the first place but also for sticking with me over the past 15 or
so very difficult months that this `hidden` dental infection has blighted my
life. It seems quite clear that
infection, (perhaps anywhere in the body), makes the whole M.E./MCS situation
drastically worse. Were it not for your
continuos support throughout, particularly with regard to the prescription of
sufficient quantities of antibiotics to keep the resulting overwhelming
symptoms at bearable levels, I don’t know how I would have managed.
When the Huntly dentist Mr
Stewart dismissed my complaint as “tooth grinding” way back at the start no
other doctor at your practice would, I am quite sure, have given my conflicting
view the time of day. And I would have
been in no end of difficulty as a result of that. So, one again Doc, my heartfelt thanks to you for sticking with
me.
Yours sincerely
Gordon McHendry
