The intention of this section of the Satori-5 website is to record my own personal struggle with severe MCS [complicated by M.E. & HRS also] The goal is to try and tell my story like it actually was - and still is - in a multi-level way - not just with regard to the very substantial physical 'outer' aspects of the illness but its considerable, and at times overwhelming impacts on the emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels also. However, since my writing talents are rather limited, I ask, in advance, for the readers patience.
My stumbling attempts to bring to life some of the more extreme realities of living with MCS [ also known as TILT, CI, or EI ] in the United Kingdom today, were always going to be very difficult. I knew that to somehow get it all out into the public domain, via this quite extraordinary and revolutionary phenomenon we call the Internet, was also bound to be even more difficult. Not just because I have never done anything even remotely like this before, and not just because I suffer from an a combination of illnesses that can often be utterly devastating in a comprehensive multi-level way, but also largely because I would be struggling to try and learn HTML coding "by hand" as I went along :)
These "difficulty factors" mentioned above will, I have no doubt whatsoever, generate lots of errors of every conceivable kind. For these things too I ask the readers patience - in returrn for which I promise that I shall, whenever health and circumstances permit, go on writing, rewriting, correcting, refining, restructuring, recoding, redesigning, rephrasing and restating, until at last, God willing, all will be made as well, and as good, and as true, in the end, as it is humanly possible for me to make it.
